Its highly probable your going to have heard of a lot of these people; I think the vast majority of my choices would be on a lot of people lists. These people are some of the cream of international acting talent - often for very different reasons. I've tried to justify my selections.
An action hero to surpass Hollywoods greatest. I love the work of Chow Yun Fat, he's one of the actors responsible for selling Hong Kong films to the british film going public. Films such as Hard Boiled, The Killer and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon are classic films that everyone should see.
Think Jean Claude Van Damme but any good and he can act. Despite a poor showing in Hollywood Jet Li's Chinese films are mouth wateringly good, The Legend Of Fong Sai Yuk and the epic Once Upon A Time In China are gems among the collection. Jet is a master of the Wu-Shu martial arts and rivals Bruce Lee in my eyes.
If you don't know who this man is please wrap yourself across the knuckes. For thirty years De Niro has been wowing audiences with his captivating performances. Looking at the mans C.V. and you will find very few poor films. To see De Niro at his captivating best I recommend you see: Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Casino, Goodfella's and Heat to but a few.
One of Hollwoods current great bad guys. As with all great baddies are he's English. My personal favourite role of his has to be in the magnificent Leon - a bad cop has never been portrayed as being so 'real'.
Teetering on the brink of real stardome Edward Norton has more potential than a spare hectacre in central London. American History X and Fight Club really showed the talent of this man; as well as his versatility. Whether playing a skinny businessman or a bulky prison inmate Edward Norton is an actor with a big future.
